Welcome To The Application Portal Of The HEiKA Graduate School On “Functional Materials”
This portal is used to apply for admission of membership in the Cluster of Excellence 3D Matter Made to Order (3DMM2O).
The application process is structured and concise. Please select the appropriate application type (Admission) and follow the guided steps. All required documents must be uploaded before submission.
After submitting your application, further changes are no longer possible.

To start the application process, please REGISTER. After confirming your registration by Email, you can log on to your profile and start completing the online application form. After you have submitted your application, changes are no longer possible.
Before starting the application process, we recommend that you have the following documents and materials prepared:
Please upload a 1–3 page CV outlining your education, academic background, research activities, publications, and relevant experience.
Please upload a signed project description outlining the state of the art, work plan, project aims, relevance to the respective Cluster project(s)/Lighthouse Project(s), and planned collaborations. For new projects not foreseen in the Cluster proposal, additionally explain the relevance within the Cluster in more detail (2-3 pages).

Please upload a copy of your Master’s certificate. If the final certificate is not yet available, you may provide a provisional document.
